What it is

You design architecture by thinking in modular pieces, not one-off facades. You break buildings into repeatable units: bays between columns, window modules, wall panels, roof slices, tower segments, balcony types. When you invent a structure, you arrange and repeat these units so the result feels intentional and buildable, not random decoration.

You keep structural logic running through your design while you push style. If you invent a flying temple or a cliff city, you still show how loads are carried: where the mass sits, how supports stack, how floors, walls, and roofs connect. You might exaggerate scale or shape, but each part still suggests real weight and support, not pasted-on shapes.

You design a small kit of parts for a building or location, then use that kit consistently across views and iterations. The same tower segment can appear at different heights, the same balcony module can wrap around corners, the same buttress type can repeat along a wall. Your variations read as purposeful configurations of the same system, not unrelated ideas.

Why it matters

Without this, your invented buildings fall apart the moment someone looks past the surface. Windows drift with no relation to floors, towers perch on nothing, and details change style from one angle to the next. When you design from modular systems and respect structural credibility, art directors can believe your world, 3D artists can build from your sheets, and multiple designs in the same project feel like they belong to one culture or technology level.
